How Do I Test The Compression

Ok just like it says how do I test the compression. I need to know what gauge to get where to put it and how to put it there.

What I am looking for is a good step by step walkthrough.

Thanks

I did and I didnt find a walkthrough

Thats what I need.

Dont have any help then shut up.

If you can direct me to a thread with a walkthrough in it that will be very helpful but all I am finding is threads with people asking and others telling them to search.

Any help would be great.

Thanks

A. You need to first find, buy, or borrow a rotary compression tester. Not an easy feat

B. The manual says to remove both the trailing plugs, but I found the leading plugs to be easier. (on FCs and FBs they are easier trailing)

C. Screw the tester hose into one of the plug holes and then hook it into the tester.

D. Attach the power cable to the tester

E. Remove the EGI fuse and unplug the trailing plug wires

F. Turn the tester on

G. Turn the engine over while holding the accelerator down to the floor.

H. Turn off the tester, and review the results.
