How Do I Remove My Motor Mounts?
I have helped pull over 6 engines and never had any problems with motor mounts. The e-shaft front bolt
is the only thing to ever give us problems.
You are using a 3/8 or 1/2 torque wrench or breaker bar,
with socket, aren't you?
Using a box end wrench is being uneducated.

The engine does not have to be out of the car.
We pull the motor mounts before pulling the engine as it gives about 4" more room.
Same applies for putting the engine back in. Easier with the mounts off.

if you cant losen the mounts with a breaker bar heat up the nut with a torch. i hope your talking about the nut that is tightened to the sub chasie. if you cant losen the mounts from the motor they were over tightened they arent suposed to be that tight.
