How do I move my SMIC closer to the front bumper?
Hello all!!
I have a Blitz SMIC and I was wanting to know if I can be able to move the intercooler closer to the front bumper to provide room for some pipes, Greddy polished pipes for that matter.
There is some black, I guess holder connected to the intercooler, not sure If I can remove it or if it is needed for something.
If anybody has any tech help, it would be greatly apprecieated!!!

You probably can, but you may have to modify the air duct a bit in order to free up some space. You can remove the air duct completly, but that isn't recommened as you wont have a steady flow of air to the IC.

Interesting..So the plastic black box I guess connected to the IC is an air duct.
Well, How can I modify it? Or are there manufacturers that make smaller air ducts?

All you would really need to do is to shave it or cut it with scissors or a blade. The plastic it is made of is not very thick. NO one really makes smaller airducts. Some tuners DO make airducts, but are designed to fit their aftermarket ICs
