Question How do I install a manual boost controller on nonsequential setup

I have a poormans nonsequential setup on my car. My wastegate solenoid seems to be acting only working some of the time so I decided to install my turbosmart manual boost controller I had laying around for some time. I've been searching on how to set it up on the actuator and have found a few different diagrams telling me contradicting things so I'm quite confused. Here is the latest diagram I've been looking at https://www.rx7club.com/3rd-generation-specific-1993-2002-16/full-nonsequential-diagram-574505/ . My question is do I still need to have a restrictor pill in the line once I have my mbc on? I also posted a question on the other link so if anybody has any suggestions on how to get this working right, it would be greatly appreciated.

The boost controller is replacing the pill. You can think of it as an adjustable pill.
