how do i disable the factory alarm?
i have had an aftermarket alarm installed on my car and now occasionally when i disarm it. it sets off the factory alarm. so i would like to disable it. thanks for your help!

Couple questions: What aspect of the factory set up do you wsh to disable? "ALL of it" is a little vauge, as there are rather a number of aspects to deal with there. Second, is the aftermarket one utilizing any aspects of the stock system? Such as the starter system kill, door, rear hatch and hood sensors? The horn? Just wondering if "killing" the stock alarm will also disable the aftermarket unit, or if the aftermarket unit is fully standalone?
