How do I disable the engine warm up???

Hi...I have a 94 FD...and I just got the basic performance upgrades( DP, MP, CB, intake and power fc)...And when I turn my car on in the morning it warms up for way to long...after I drive it for like 5 min. the idle starts going down to normal...My power FC is on a pre-programed setting...and next week it's going to be dyno tuned...my question is: do I have to disable the engine warm up system and how do I do it???

Thanks...

what do you mean engine warm up cycle? if its hte 3k rpm boost in the beginning when you start your car, just tap your gas untill it comes down.

Starting the car in gear disables the accelerated warm up.

yeah, you should start it in first gear. That way it doesn't start up at 3k rpm, it just starts at around 1500 or less.

I used to do that but now that I put all the performance stuff on... it doesnt work... I tap my gas pedal but the rpm just stays at 2000

I will try starting it in first gear...see if it works

Thanks guys...
