you must disassemble the dash ....remove the gauge cluster.....replace the gauge faces....then reassemble....

A while ago I saw a trend on how to do it on the stock faces. If I can remember correctly all you have to do is grab a fine sand paper and send the back of the stock faces to remove the orange reddish paint on the back of the stock faces and replace the bulbs to your choice of color because of the sanding you just turned the stock faces clear all you need is color bulbs. For the sandpaper I would use some wet sand paper because of the high grit.

Just a note: if you use "Goof Off" from home depot with a towel, cotton swab or whatever the hell, the tint on the back of the gauge face comes off with absolutely no struggle. Problem is that it may be a bit too affective. Some of the goof off ran down to the front of the gauge and took off.. the front of my gauge. This was my first trial however and i was being careless. I strongly believe that if you were careful enough and took precautions, this job would be fairly stress free.

I was just too lazy to use sand paper.

You're not suppose to be the one goofing off when you use this.
