How can you tell if your A/C has been retrofitted?

The person that did the retrofit should have put a tag on the line near the fill/purge valves labled "134r" if not it probably hasn't been done. or at least it wasn't done by a professional AC Tech.

They should have put a sticker on the underside of the hood. Also, the r134 system uses a larger valve system, so you can check to see whether the AC valves near the turbos have new valves screwed on top of the old ones.

Here ya go! See the black caps on the ports? There is a high and a low pressure line. The bigger line is always the low pressure. Retrofit 134A kits almost always use a "quick connect" type of connector where R-12 has the screw on style.
