How can you tell if you have the real deal Pettit ecu.

I bought one on ebay a while back and it looks exactly like my stock ecu, no marking whatsoever to differntiate between aftermarket or stock. before putting this in, is there a way to tell if it is a genuine pettit. i opened it up and i saw some writing on some parts but nothing to identifu it as a pettit.

Just open up you stock ecu, put them side by side. If it is a Pettit there is a daughter board added and you can tell the difference immediately.

call Pettit and they can tell you what the number should be on the chip set and if it's an unlimited chip or not.
