how can i tell if i have this ecu????

i was talking to a guy that did the a parts swapping on my car a few days back (check the mod list) and he asked if i still had a petitt remap ecu(or something like that) i didn't know any thing about an ecu in my car but i was thinking that may be possible because for about a week after the swap my car was boosting like crazy i had about 20 psi on stock turbos also the guy i got my car from had petitt do all the work on the car before i got it. i know your going to say not possible and what not but i know for a fact it had to be around 20psi because i had one of the guys ride with me when i got it back and he had 450+ hp and he said my car felt faster. after about a week my boost calmed to 12psi. and still felt way faster than before (no extra mods) any way 2 months later i wrecked and my car sat for like 4mth when i got the parts to get it running again i took it to a regular shop for the radiator to be fixed i thought this might be a bad idea. sure enough they screw up all kinds of **** left both intake cones off innercooler hose and the oil cap off which wedged itself on my throttle cable leaving it stuck wide open also they removed the front fender covers and didn't replace so i burnt like 20 wires over the driver wheel. i was wondering if the wires being fried could have shorted something in my ecu and cause it not to boost properly. how do i tell if the ecu is stock or not and looking at my probs is there anything that you could think of as to why my car is not running properly i'm afraid i'm going to loose my engine because i have to drive it every day and there is something wrong. HELP!!!!!!

Yank the plastic cover on the far right of the passenger footwell and take a peek.

And learn to write more coherent sentences. Just because you're using periods, doesn't mean it's easy to read.

Kids, let this be a lesson. NEVER stand for long periods of time behind a modified FD

Once you look at the ECU, it will have a CLEAR indication of who modified it.
