How bad is a coolant leak from here (PICS)

Well I just installed my intake and the other day when I stopped I popped the hood to make sure all the filters were still there I saw coolant coming from this hose.

Is there some type of overflow here or is it leaking I did not see a hole in the hose but it was dripping off the lowest point of the hose coming from the overflow side but dont know how far.

Also another question what did you do with the MOO contraption I added the silencers but now there is no support and it is hitting the pully and wearing down the hose I think zip ties will be a temp fix

That line goes to the overflow bottle.

I just replaced mine this morning, I had a small pin hole in mine. No big deal really, just go to the part store and replace the section of line that is leaking. OR go to Mazdatrix.com and order the OEM bent line for it.

I might have, but I have had a small coolant leak for a while, ( I always thought it was just overflowing from me adding too much coolant) It is very minor though.

It's some what important that line not have an opening to atmosphere as it will draw air back into the ast when the system cools down. This would cause coolant to go into the recovery tank but pull air back into the ast when cooling down, (acts very much like a bad AST cap.

Definitely replace that hose soon. If you have a hole in it, the coolant recovery won't work right, which can lead to overheating.

For your airpump moo -

If you have a Pettit intake, throw out that crappy contraption they ship with it and get my anti-moo device in the above post . $1 at Wal-Mart and less than 5 minutes, you'll have that problem solved cold.
