Hoses questions about PFS intake installation.

I just got my PFS intake and SMIC installed today; however, I have questions about some hoses that I don't know how to deal with. I can identify two of them are BOV hoses and one of them is the airpump hose. What is the one that sits beside the airpump and goes over the Y-pipe? I feel the air is coming out of the hose instead of sucking in? What is the name and purpose of that hose and what can I do about it? That factory hose is too short so I cannot connect it to the PFS intake.

What do you guys do with the factory BOV hoses? Do you vent them into air or connect them back into the intake? Will it cause any running problems if I vent the BOVs into air?

What ID size of K&N breather/vent filter do you guys use for the airpump?

Thanks for the help.

Split air by-pass? It goes to your ACV and if you have emissions, you have to keep it.

You can do either. But some recommend an aftermarket BOV if you vent to atmosphere.

What is the function of split air by-pass? What's the proper way to get rid of it if I don't have to worry about the emissions? The hose is too short to be connected back to the PFS intake so I rather remove it now. Thanks.

Get a new, longer hose. If your still on the stock ECU, removing emissions isn't as simple as some block-off plates and probably isn't an option right now.
