horn - coolant catch can - wrong hazard light
horn - coolant catch can - wrong hazard light
I have come across several things in the past week and grouped them together in one post.
I found the horn doesn't work, at first it was very low then it stopped. I can hear a relay click. Where is the horn located on a 93? I looked all over and I can't find it.
I checked out all the lights. I found the left turn signal was blinking faster than the right, OK no big deal. Then I found with the hazard lights flashing the front left "drivers side" maker light flashes instead of the blinker light. I compared the wiring between both sides and it looks the same. I'm going to guess that something is wired wrong somewhere. Any thoughts?
I relocated a what I believe is a coolant catch can with what looks like a radiator cap on the top. It has 3 hoses, top hose goes to below the coolant fill place, the middle one goes to the an overflow tank, bottom one goes to the bottom radiator. I relocated it and coolant started running out. I realized it was lower and basically it siphoned out coolant from the radiator. I mounted up higher and it stop leaking. How does is this suppose to work? It would seem that under pressure the coolant from the lower hose would just empty into the overflow tank and run out all over?
Thanks dudes...

Wiring diagrams are also in that thread.
thanks Mahjik
I will look again for the horn.
I think I figured out the light issue. I think the connector is bad, it was corroded and the light bulbs were corroded too. I tried to clean it up as best as I could. Very strange to remove one light and the other comes on! I could move the wires around and the lights would start working. If it does it again I will remove the connector and solder them directly.
The AST gave me fits mainly because I wasn't sure what its function was. I will look at it again. I wanted to relocate the battery and the AST was mounted on the battery bracket.
