I'm in need of help! My hood cable is not connected to the latch in the front and my hood is closed. Is there another way to open my hood?!?!

use electric sheet metal cutter, cut all around the latch, then use a screw driver to open it.

There is a way to open the hood from underneath the front bumper. You will definitely need to remove parts out the way to reach towards the hood latch area. The reason why you latch system does not work anymore is b/c the tiny plastic piece that is at the base of the wire is broken. This is another design failure towards Mazda as the plastic is not made to last as it is intended to. My first 7 had this issue happen 2 times and I ended up rigging a coat hanger where the radiator opening is on the front bumper. Good luck.
