Hood Pin install help please
Hey guys,
Im trying to put hood pins on my vented hood. I want the pins located next to the hood latch. Not behind the head lights. After briefly inspecting the hood bump stops next to the hood latch, there seem to be wires running underneath those bump stops. I am afraid of drilling with out finding out a way to get around those wires. Also access under the bump stops are a bit difficult. (I have not removed anything except those bump stops) Oh wait I did remove the plastic trim around the head light when i raised them to the up position. But still trying to get underneath the bump stop is blocked. This in rather important as I can barely get a hand under there let alone a socket wrench to tighten down the nuts on the hood pin itself.
If anyone has a DIY or can point me in the right direction. Thanks.

If you look along the bumper support. There are a few black clips sticking up from the underside. Push those thru and that big clump of a wiring harness will fall out of the way. Provided you alredy have some other things out of the way. Otherwise, i think you could still get your hand in there after you pop those loose and pull the harness down a bit. Hope that helps.
