It's a little extreme for my tastes, but I think it would look a hell of a lot better painted.

You live in Alaska, what the hell do you need a vented hood for?

Nice wheels BTW...

That's the RE Amemiya AD 9 hood. I'm hopefully going to pick that up. Looking good.

Mr rx-7 tt, I love living up here, no traffic just easy going

moktan_fdtt, intake temps drop between 3 to 5 degrees

rynberg, Hey Tyler, I was thinking about painting it but wanted to see what it looks like with the CF, I know that I am in AK but it get's up to 80 here and it is hot, I had the hood when I lived there just never got the chance to install it

sig425, the sideskirts are in CF, I like my lip it is flexible and wont get messed up the first bump it hits

So do they really pay you a stipend to live there? Also, is that a glacier off to the right?

wow, your car is simply amazing. White is the only color on which I prefer unpainted CF hoods, and it looks especially good on yours with the rear wing and sideskirts. You sir, have good taste.

Yeah, I was just breaking your *****. I've actually been looking at that hood to see if I could live with it and I still think it's a little too extreme for me. I'm a low key guy actually (with a RED FD?).

I do think it will look better painted though. Can you post some pics of the rain trays and provide some install details?

the rain trays hits the strut tower bar and my buddy club condenser, install was fairly simple just like R&R

I might paint it later on when I get the car painted, who knows when that will be...
