hood fitting

I picked up a cf hood from someone in town last night, and I can't seem to make it fit. Am I doing something wrong, or is the hood just not fitting?

I am looking at fitting instrucitons on atihuns site (who I should have brought from... grrr...) http://www.atihun.com/pictures/hood/...ment/hood.html

right now the hood latches, but does not lock all the way down (does my explanation make sence?) yet the drivers side is flush & the passanger side is way out.
please let me know what you guys think... can I make this work?

is the hood warped? How did the stock hood fit?

Make sure you didn't leave a socket on the UIM or fender rail where it could force the hood up... I've done that before.

huh? you lost me there....

the stock hood fit great... no problem at all

I don't know if this hood is warped or not... that is what I am trying to determine so I should know if I should be getting my $ back, or if it is just a fitment issue for me....

ok really though try this and see if the hood fits. Take the bolts off and leave the bottom latched on. Then see if you can get the hood centered the way you like it. Then drill new holes, where the bolts line up. Thats what i would do. Or again sell it to me for cheap.
Hope this helps Marc

I couldn't get the hood beyond latched when it was not attached to the car. I can't see anything that it is hitting, and the latch on the itself seems to be in good working order...

the back of the hood seems to line up nice, but the front of the hood seems be be twisted...

Looks like the hood latch may be towards the passangers side too much.

Loosen the bolts on the latch and move it towards the drivers side.
