Talking Homeless Man's Ram Air for open intakes.

I took out my parking lights/lenses tonight because I wanted to clean them out and take out the ambers to see how it would look...had them out and noticed the car looks really cool without them.....hmmmmm I notice theres some room for the cool fresh air to circulate into my A'pex intakes, so i leave them off. It's a cool night so I go out for a quick spirited drive, and the car felt quite a bit faster with all the cold air rushing into the engine bay! I was getting very smooth power and spun out the tires a little in second...that never happened before. I know it wasnt poor shifting because the tires slipped smoothly, with no jerky movement. I hit ~10.5-11# of boost which was also a first. Very cool for just having intake, exhaust, pfc, and act clutch on stock boost levels.

It's illegal to drive around without front turn signals, but it was fun

Thumbs up

Hell, just take off the hood

I've seen a few ghetto Rustangs driving around w/their engine bays exposed...

Acutally, it's perfectly legal to drive around without your turn signals , you just need to use hand signals instead when you turn. Hard to do at 150mph though. I now only have a right arm!

What you can do is wire up the turn signal to some flush mounted motorcyle fairing turnsignals, and fit in teh corner of your new opening...

I was gonna put them back on...but damn... you got me thinkin. The car looks kind of evil without them

To complete the ghetto procedure, I shall fabricate a cold air duct for the new openings out of duct tape

Interesting.

Any one have any idea on what style signal of what bike would fit in that opening---- or would it be easier to fabricate?
