the only other way i would imagine (besides electronic) would be to get a diff size restrictor pill to replace the one's you have. just an idea. nick

Are you for real you went to by a valve and they didn't have any? If yes, You know lowes and other hardware stores sell them too.
Either way if you are kidding or being for real.. I don't know other ideas for a budget boost controller that you can make yourself but you buy one of the ones sold on ebay for $40.00-$50.00.

lowes was far so i didnt go tehre today, and i dont have any pills in my car, yes, its one of those. and i disconnected both prespool and wastegate solenoids from teh actuators and rerouted a few hoses. the actuators were pllugged on one side to prevent the air from leakign out so now it boosts 7-6-7 insteaad of 14-10-14 that i used to get. so i just wanted to turn the boost back up to about 10 psi.
