Hold "button", or hold light?

If the light is flashing, simply stop the car, do the KOKO routine.
(Key ON key OFF) a few times. Cures mine every time.

I think the A/T's ECU gets confused at times......

Yes, it is sort of a crazy deal.....
I have always regarded automatic trannys with a certain amount of awe.....I mean, you push this go pedal HERE and it all takes care of itself....but these computer controlled ones are even more voodoo black magic.....
Sometimes when I am just cruising along and stomp the **** out of the gas to go for a blast, the transmission is sort of like, "Pip pip, sorry old chap, I'm having a spot of tea right now....come back later..."
or maybe it is HAL out of 2001: A Space Odyssey, "I'm sorry, I can't let you do that right now..."
This is why it is good to drive in "S" a lot.....takes some of the control back!

P.S. I love your avatar....that is classic!

certianly is impressive isnt it....except of course when its having its tea break....i use S to avoid that alot as well.....feels less likely to have a tea break ..especially on a nice backroad or something when you need power now...not the most oppurtune time for a ecu confusion moment (well he is smashing the pedal....so i guess he wants to go.....well maybe he dosent.....no im pretty sure he does.......ok go!)

glad you like the avatar...first time i saw it i was like wha.....oh yeah that kind of rotary..
