Hmmm....every week or so..my 7 won't turn over....

I'll be just jumping in the car....go to start up and:

nnnnnnnnn-nnnnnnnn-nnnnnnnnn-nnnnnnnnn-nnnnnnn.....

It just won't turn over...the starter is working, the electricals are all working.

I'll do that for one GOOD LONG pull, and finally..she'll turn over, and putter really crappy for a second until I give it some gas, and then she idles correctly again.

It's happened like 4 times since I've had the car back in Mar.

Any ideas?

Mods are in the sig...everything is pretty much fresh, injectors cleaned and flowed, new fuel filters...bla bla...

Loose wire somewhere?

all it could be is too much fuel in the engine or a bad connection (ground somewhere) right?
how do you know the starter is good?

too much fuel would be an injector problem or the way your pfc is tuned but then it should have a problem every start up. Did you run the car hard before shutting it down and then the next day it had a problem with starting?

check grounds first and after youve driven it hard open the hood and smell around for gas

sorry its hard to figure out your problem without being there most of my advise was probably not good but I'd really look at the grounds for sure

No gas smell...but the grounds definetly might be a problem. I don't believe the grounds are that great..I'll have to take a look at it.

The starter is working, is what I meant...it's turning over and doing it's job, the car just isn't starting.

My PFC isn't tuned yet...still waiting for that damn dyno-tune..I was supposed to get it done last Thursday, but the military base I'm at cancelled all leave.

I'm going to get it tuned, Tuesday, thank goodness I'm PCS'ing.

I'll go test it out....

When this happens did you previously just start the car and move it? Sounds to me like it is flooding slightly. If your just puttering around in town/commuting with your car switch back over to 7s in the leading plugs. The 9s will tend to foul out in that sort of driving.

To help prevent flooding just push the gas just a slight amount when cranking it. This helps get a little more air into the engine.

Call me if you have any questions. I really, really doubt it is a grounding issue.
