HKS Twinpower DLI on REW

Hey guys,

I picked up a new twinpower for cheap but dont know if the DLI version will work with the rotary (FD). My research to understand the differences between the rotary and DLI versions has so far not netted much beyond the DLI version having additional coil wires to supplement up to 6 coils.

Any chance the DLI version will work for me ?
Im hoping that simply not using three of the coil wires allows for use on the FD.

Thanks in advance !

Because the leading is waste sparked, you need the rotary specific (2nd and 3rd gen Rx-7) HKS Twin Power. it has 5 wires: power, ground, leading, trailing 1 and trailing 2

Many thanks, this clears up the issue. Anyone need a DLI ? Thinking about putting the jacobs fc1000 in then. Have one of those sitting here as well.

Get the proper twinpower. Its much easier and proven. Jacobs is dated technology in my opinion.
