Is the rotary type the only the that works with the rx7? For some reason I just noticed the one in my car is the DL1, just has two extra wires taped off the side but the light is on.

 

From what I understand it will still work if you can sort the wiring out correctly. They discontinued the plug & play rotary version.

A great alternative for a little bit more money is the sakebomb ignition setup, I personally run it and have had great success with it.

 

I agree with this. The Sake Bomb kit can not be matched! You can even watch the FS threads for a deal on a used one.
