I'm pretty sure I'm not the first to think of this, but I found that the cruise control bracket is an almost perfect HKS Twin Power mounting location. The cruise control unit itself must be removed - so if you like cruise control, you are out of luck. A tab in the center of the bracket also needs to be flattened.

I painted the bracket flat red for a small mount of bling and then drilled a hole in the bracket for the 8mm mounting bolt.

wish i could do this, but i love my cruise control, when it works atleast...it seriouslt has a mind of its own when to work or not.

 

wow very nice job. i know this is a big problem people often have but never talk about. the more i look at it though the more i dont like it. i would like to put my twin power where the ignitor goes, i think thats the perfect spot
