There is a harness you can buy to make it a plug and play but it can also be spliced.

Highly recommend getting the harness, though - flaky wiring can make the car not run, so that's worth being thorough with. The plug and play harness is VERY nice, too, and not too pricey.

Yes! If you want, you can make it difficult by using the supplied harness which you have to splice in.

It literally takes like a minute to install this thing if you buy the FD-specific harness to go with it.

I mounted mine here on my old fd. Took me a few minutes to make a bracket... Look on the drivers side, next to the brake booster...
