HKS turbo timer puked?
Hey gang.
Looks like my turbo timer may have barfed on me. With the unit on, it usually lets the car turn off when the key is turned off, or when I start the car, I can hear the countdown on the timers beeping. Anybody else had a problem with one? I guess a new one is only a hundred bucks, and I already have the harness installed, I just figured it would last longer than 3 years. Looking at the unit, it thinks it's doing what it is supposed to, but if it starts counting down when I start the car, it'll keep starting the countdown over and over, sometimes for the whole trip home.

IF you have the type 1 then it has a setting where it will time your countdown based on how hard you drive it. So if you are driving and have this "mode" on then it will be counting down as you drive. Once you turn the key off the timer will begin from when you turned it off.
