HKS makes a good intercooler, but..

the kit does not have brackets or pipes.

that may run you 300$ more and will be a pain to fab.

I have yet to see that seller try to sell any junk. There was a badass Greddy/Trust FD3S SMIC from him on there about a week ago. The bidding got out of control at the end and the shipping from Japan is steep.

^ yeah that Greddy SMIC went for $650 I think plus $250 shipping!

According to XS, the HKS is the best fitment but it does require cutting, relocating, etc and you will loose your fog lights. Also if you don't have the newer A/C then you'll have to be without. HKS has one for sale in their closeout garage sale section. It's also carb legal.

This is a company that the honda custom turbo community has been using for a while now. Awesome intercoolers for an outstanding price. All front mounts, of course.

Did anyone notice that it looks like two stock intercoolers welded together? Even looks like two greddy SMIC's as well.

it is designed that way. apparently there is a small HKS core, and for the large 3 row, they weleded them together.

Yep I noticed it(looks like 2 in one) The reason I wanted it was for the size. I am going to experiment and make it a smic at an angle (almost Vmount) with shorter intake hoses (custom), relocated battery ..... how it will turn out??? I have no idea. I am estimating it should cost about 70 bux for all the piping and on top of that whatever renting a welding machine costs. We'll see
