Anyone using an HKS intake? How do you like it and how is the quality?

Any pics with it installed on your car?
thanks

seeing that you already have one of the best intake (m2) I would't even think of switching...

HKS..does not filter well at all..as most foam filters...
It also does not flow as well as apexi, blitz and k&N's either..

I used the HKS for about a 8 months...cleaned it all the time and oiled it...still had dirt in my intake pipes..I highly recommend not using it.

I'm using the HKS Power Intake. I like it a lot, however I was trying to get the Apexi or Blitz intakes first. Unfortunately, both were on back order everywhere at the time I was wanting to make my purchases, so I just grabbed the HKS.

I liked the look of the Apexi and Blitz more, but functionally, they are all about the same.

Do not buy the HKS intake unless you like small dirt/rock particles going into your turbos and engine.

Check here:

Keep in mind, that's not an actual "road test".

I actually spoke to a lot of people before I purchased mine, and a lot of shops about them. The all offer almost identicle power gains, however the filtering will differ between them.

Yeah yeah but flow in not everything....hell no filter will flow better...
point is the HKS is a filter and it does a poor job at that..

I would never recommend it to anybody...infact my other car is a passat and HKS is one of the only companies that make a filter for that car and I'm constantly telling these guys not to use it... like atihun said..if you lke dirt in your turbos and engine..by all means use it
