Hissing while testing fuel system...
Hey Guys,
With some great help from the forum, I've just changed out my fuel pulsation damper. Before putting the whole business back together, I figured it wise to pressurize the fuel system to check for leaks. I followed the procedure where you jump the FP term to ground in the diagnostic port. When I turn the ignition on, I hear a pretty loud hissing in the engine compartment that I cannot manage to localize. But no leaking fuel/fuel smell, or any other outward symptoms. Is this normal? Is it just another system that is normally masked by other noises? I don't want to get her all put back together and then find that I've missed something.
Your experience, input and advice are greatly appreciated.
Cheers,
Tom
