High Boost Problem

I know this might sound kida strange, but i am having a problem with too much boost. I took my car back to the people that built the engine too figure out my boost problem and we found a couple of things. The car was initally boosting 12-5-7. First of all the two sylenoids that are attached to the upper manifold were plugged in backwards. We switched them back and now i am getting a 15 lb boost patern on the primary and 15 on the secondary. We never let the waited for transition, we just shifted gears to get the rpm's where they should be. there are no pills in the car, so I have no idea what the problem could be. I do know that the turbos do not have restrictors in them. Right now i am running with the 2 top hoses to the sylenoids disconnected and plugged, so i am getting a 7-5-7 pattern. Any help would be great.
Jon

Does the car have any mods, namely exhaust mods?

If not, it sounds like the wastegate is not properly operating.

Perhaps the hose running from the primary turbo housing to the wastegate actuator has popped off or has a leak?

exhausts upgrades generally result in high boost but I have never heard of 3 more lbs.

Well, the wastegate isn't opening, so it must be something with that...either the actuator is not being supplied with boost pressure or there's a mechanical reason for the flapper door not opening. I'm a little concerned you have to come here and ask--your mechanic should be all over this issue...

Check the pills in the lines of the two actuators underneath the first intake nearest the radiator.

like i said everything is working properly except for the amount of boost. when its not copmpletely warm we get a good boost reading. when the engine reaches full temp is when the moost goes way the hell up.

It's obvious that everything isn't working properly or you wouldn't be having this problem. You have a few suggestions in this thread on what to check. It's up to you or your shop to check them out to verify proper operation. The car isn't going to fix itself.

I'm not trying to be harsh, but you are asking for help, people are offerring ideas where to check, yet you haven't made an effort to even verify any of these things.

High boost problem cured due to advice from Cam at Pettit. I drilled out the factory restrictors on the turbos and then could use the pills (holly jetts) I used a 64 for the long hose and a 70 for the short one. Now nopt only is the car fixed, but i know how to control my boost.
