high beam lights won't turn on

It was inevitable! I hate electrical things. I can build a motor that pushes 400+ to the ground, tune suspension and drive the hell out of a car, but when it comes to something as simple as headlights, the easiest thing will stump me...

Just got the RE Amemiya IPF (I'll change the lights later). So, I get the lights all wired up and they look a lot better than stock already! I back the car out of the garage and start to level and adjust the lights. They wanna be way up hunting for squirrels for some reason, but I think I know the reason (small springs on the bottom somewhere (wondering why I got 16 springs anyway).

So as I'm tightening the screws to adjust the high beams, they turn off. So I assume a short and turn off the lights. I check the wiring for temp and damage, nothing. So I turn them back on. Low beam works fine, high beam, nothing. Checked the 30A fuse, it's fine, consult the wiring diagram (I do in fact know how to read it), can't figure out what could possibly be wrong except the switch on the steering wheel. Any ideas? This is rediculous! I hate electricity!

Have you gone through Flowchart 3 on page E-12 of the Body Electric Manual? If you don't have it, download it from the Tech Directory stickied thread.
