Under the current hot group buys, at the bottom, there is a kit that is being made right now that will probably use some type of fog nights and I was wondering if it would be possible to put a HID kit into those. There is one kit that kind of intersted me in particular for price and other reasons:

My biggest worry is that the HID kit that I saw on ebay doesn't have a bezzel or a housing so that the light would just flood everywhere and not be directed in any particular direction. The second thing that worries me is sealing the enclosure. Would I be able to seal it off in the back with something like this? If you all could point me in the right direction... any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

You need the correct reflector housing (usually projector beam type) that is specifically made for HID bulbs, otherwise the lighting won't be close to optimum. The proper housing will be sealed off in the back, since it will be made for the D2S xenon bulb.

 

Where could I get a housing that isn't part of some larger headlight fixture. Do they sell just the projection housing seperately?
