I recently purchased a 1994 mazda rx-7 montego blue...

and Ive always like driving/racing but ever since I saw the rotary team in Initial D and that yellow FD its being a dream to acquire such a prestige of Car I hope we can chit chat and share experiences regarding this wonderfull machine.. Ill make sure to read the faq .. to learn from the pro`s... the car is completely stock wich is scary for me since ppl just tell me they lit up on fire for no particular reason...

i always wondered why they call it montego blue ?!......dont see much blue in it

 

its more blue at night.

 

maybe it should be called night rider blue.....

or morning grass green ( since its green on daylight).

 

90% of what you read/see on the internet is bullshit. these cars are money pits if you plan on modding...

 

Take a picture of the car at night with flash and it will turn into Blue~
