This is the scoop ~ I got an oil change and tune-up from this autoplace. After that it started hesitating. Then i brought the car to mazda. They did an engine diagnostics test for it and came up with a crack in the air box. I upgraded to a Blitz air intake system and the hesitation problem when away somewhat but its still alittle bit, just not haLf as bad. DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT ELSE IT COULD BE THE CAUSE OF THIS PROBLEM????????

 

did it hesitate before the tuneup?

i think that autoplace put the wrong spark plugs in there or didnt put them correctly..did mazda even check that?

 

no it started after the tune-up, im not sure what mazda exactly did, but the ran a engine diagnostics test, whatever that entitles.

 

MAP sensor got disconnected.

Happens when they change the oil filter and are not careful.

Check along the firewall in front of the steering wheel/drivers side.

 

Does it happen at around 3000 rpm?
