helpppp....my car won't start

i was planning to go home today for the weekend but all of a sudden my car(FD) won't start. I can hear the cranking noise but then it won't start. I checked the engine fuse and it was still good. The engine cranks but then it won't fully start. What's wrong with my car? Can someone please please help me answer this question.. thank you soo much

Check the plugs to see if the car is flooded.

Sounds flooded, definitely.
And a flooded rotary is not a fun thing to deal with....
I have had it happen to me several times, just yesterday as a matter of fact.
But I have always gotten mine started by doing the following:

With the key off, push the gas pedal to the floor and hold it.
Turn the key and crank the engine for 10 secs. or so.
Stop cranking. Release gas pedal.
Crank again for 10 or 15 seconds, DO NOT TOUCH THE GAS PEDAL!
Stop cranking.

Repeat the above until the engine 'catches'. It will be running really, really roughly at first, smoke pouring out the exhaust. Baby the throttle until the car cleans out.
Gently rev it a few times to get the excess gas out.

There are other more difficult methods, but I have had good luck with the above.

it could be something else. a few days ago, my dads car wouldn't start. turned out to be the fuel pump fuse was loose. we were quite happy to find out it was something quite simple. fuel pump fuse is located at the front in a long narrow fuse box.

bajaman is the man. I just used his method and after 3 or 4 cycles it started up.
