finally she's coming back together

We got the last of the polishing back and I chucked her together loosley to have a look, the polisher did a great job on the pipe coming off the Greddy elbow. thats was a f**ken mess from the welder.

I'd agree, looks good.

But I can't stop looking at the design of the cold side IC pipe. In my opinion the unnecessary bends/angles in it make it look worse than the stock elbow and the original pipe, regardless of the polish on it.

I also think that the cover you fabb'ed up should have come up further and at least met the radiator. I know he wants to show off his shiny radiator but effective cooling > shiny.

Personally I think the pipe going to the elbow looks awesome and I think youre tripping if you think otherwise.
Atfirst when it came back form the welders we were a bit worried about how rough it looked, but the polisher did an AMAZING job!!, it looks unbelievable in person, we are very happy with how the 75mm pipes turned out.

The front cover is there purely for looks, it has no other function. My first design did involve a cover which went over the top of the IC and created an air dam, but we set the RAD and IC up pretty well to the point where there is no gaps and no need for any air dam at all. the owner is yet to decide how much of this he wants carbon fibred ( if at all )

**UPDATE* , just to let you guys now that the car won best Series 6 RX7 at the show, so the last 5 weeks of bleeding , complaining, chasing parts and polishers and staying up till 2am working on the car has paid off.

Will have pics up ASAP.

As I wasnt there the owner had to take the pics, hence why he should stick to building cars
