Question Help wiring aftermarket antenna

Ok so i bought myself an aftermarket electric antenna, made by spl x.

Heres the prob, the antenna comes with one green, one red, and one black wire, and the thick black cable that plugs into the stock thick black aerial connector that runs to the back of the head unit.

HOWEVER, the stock wiring to power the antenna has 5 or 6 wires theres a white plug that connects to a blue plug and that then connects to the back of my stock antenna, like a small adaptor. But depending whether i take this adaptor off or not, there is still 5 or 6 wires.

So where do my red and green wires connect to? What should i splice into and what not to? Why the hell does powering a rear antenna need so many wires in the first place??

Any insight is appreciated!!

Ryan

Ok heres some pics to go with my poor explanation.

3 wires on new antenna, black must be earth, green and red connect where?? Amp maybe for power?

Part of stock wiring harness, note short adaptor at end. The white plug disconnects from the blue plug. Black plug plugs directly into stock power antenna

"Adaptor" disconnected from stock harness. Black end goes in stock antenna. WHAT THE HELL ARE ALL THESE WIRES FOR!!

Close up of the stock antenna wires

Blue plug that plugs into the white end of the above stock "adaptor" not also 5 differents wires, which is positive, negative and earth, WHY 5??

New SPL X power antenna, not 3 wires (red green black) for power, and one thick black one for into back of radio. How can i wire this up??

OK, question, can i wire the power antenna into an amplifier, so when the amp is powered, the electric aerial is also?? As the amp runs off the car battery, surely this is possible?
