OK so i put a new bulb in my drivers side tail light, and it still doesnt work, but my passenger one does. So i know it is not a fuse. Anyone have any idea what could be wrong with it? Jay

 

some one must know why, I need to pass inspection. Jay

 

the whole light assembly goes thru a grommet and into the trunk. I think the plug for both the left and right as exactly the same.

I would remove the rear hatch plastics (you need to remove the big ones on the sides) and test the plug connection for power.

Also, is the rest of your electrical working? Did you add anything recently?

If not you just have to go and try to diagnose it.
