Help requested from a 1st gener!!

Tried to get my question answered on the 1st gen page but noone was able to help me so I thought I'd come here to ask. I know some of you have 1st gens and know the tire selection is quite limited. So I got a bolt pattern adaptor from my 4*110 to 5*114.3 but now the problem is that I'm almost finished my restore and ready to buy some wheels but I have know idea which offset that I'd need. I'm going with 17*8 havn't decided on which wheel company but really need a hand on the offset issue before I can go any farther.

I'd try the wheels/brake section as well. Get too large on the car and it ends up throwing the balance visually off.

My brother had a set of 17x8 fronts and 17x9 rears made by 5 zigen on his fb. I can find out what the offset was if you want me to,... but in my honest opinion I think you should go with a set of stock fd wheels, maybe powdercoat them. The offset works great with the adapters, they are 16x8's and are lighter than a mother fugga!
