Help removing counterweight
I'm assuming you're talking about the rear counterweight. I'm also assuming you already removed the big 54mm nut holding it on.
That said, put the big nut on a few threads to keep the counterweight from going flying. Put a prybar behind the counterweight to put some pressure against it, then beat the hell out of it with a hammer. I normally use a dead blow hammer, but sometimes you gotta use a metal hammer. This will shock it loose and it will pop free. If you've been working on it for a while and it's not coming, that means you aren't hitting it hard enough.
Be real careful not to hit anything you shouldn't, like the threads on the eccentric shaft - another good reason to have the nut on there.
You'll hear the sound of the counterweight when struck change to a dull note when it finally pops free.
