Help with Redline issue on Power FC
I was just told I should post this here instead of the new user technical thread. I have tried searching and have not found anything that sounds quite like my issue. I have a single turbo 93 rx7 with a power fc. I have the redline set to 8200 and up until a few days ago it would reach it and bounce as normal. However, today I have noticed that after 7600 RPM power begins to drop and she will crawl to 8000 RPM and hold. No bouncing, no cutting, just steady 8000 until I release the throttle. It does this in multiple gears and will even do it if I rev it in neutral. The car still makes decent Vacuum and great power up to 7600 RPM before that drop off. Any suggestions? I am new to automotive electronics and still stumbling through this stuff.

Any chance you or a tuner have used FC-Tweak? I know it has a "soft" rev limit it can tune for.

Save your map.
Initialize the PFC.
Reload the map.
Test.
***************************
OR:
(1) set it to 9999
OR:
(2) re-due the setting 3 map ref table. Instead of 400 - 8000, set it for a 800-9000 range(N19=8000, N20-9000) and set N20/9000 with less timing and more fuel for a power reduction over rev limiter with the 8000 rev set.
Then for the 4 map ref tables, shift columns 2-20 to 1-19 and add column 20 values.
