Unhappy Help, primary air bleed broke/fell in

Is the only way to retrieve this part to remove turbos and then LIM?

the reason it broke and fell in is because you are supposed to have the lim off already and push through the intake ports with your fingers to get the diffusers out

try reading the manual and glad you got them out

The service manual pg F-105 just said "remove in order shown" and the pic still has the LIM in place. So I was of the impression I didn't need to remove it. Thanks for the info. I'll wait until the LIM is off before thinking about the air bleeds next time. Stupid things looked perfect anyway (except one is now broken)For anyone else who finds themselves in my situation w/the LIM still on I thought I would say (if it isn't obvious) that there is absolutely NO WAY you will get any of the broken bleeder out through the injector mount hole. I sucked it out through the LIM. Outer holes lead to the secondaries, inner holes-primaries. I don't know if there is any sort of complexity between the one end of the LIM and the other that would cause the parts to get caught up. Everything came out when I checked the vacuum in my case though.

Good luck.
