HELP! Plumbing probs?
I'm sure everyone has heard something of this sort b4.....
Just finished installing new vacuum lines this weekend, and am having some problems. The engine starts, idles, and revs normally, but when I give it some gas while driving, it chokes. I'll double check the routing today, but is there anything obvious I might be missing??
I did have a little blue 2 pin connector that didn't attach to anything (near connectors for the wastegate control and turbo precontrol selenoids). I don't remember removing it, and of course, didn't take pictures of it.
Thanks in advance,
CH

Yeah that connector isn't connected to anything on my car either..
Double check your hose routing, make sure everything open is plugged, and make sure your check valves have the arrows pointing the right way as in the mazda manual..

That blue connector is for the california spec EGR valve. If you don't have a cali spec car, that blue connector will not be hookedup. For your problem, check to see the hose that goes to the double throttle actuator is hooked up and also check if the hose goes to the Map/boost sensor is hooked up.
