SEARCH for wheel hop!!!! It is a common problem for FD's. Furthermore, doing a "nice smoke show" will only wear things out on your car faster!

How in the hell are "quickest off the line" and "smoke show" in any way related? This is not a Camaro with 300 ft-lbs of torque just off idle. Getting off the line quick usually involves walking the fine line between engine bogging and excessive wheel spin (or in the FD's case, wheel hop). The stock FD is just not a "burnout" car. If you want that, go buy a modded-up 2wd pickup truck, you can smoke them all day long if you want.
