help no heat

When I turn my heater on ,I dont get any hot air out of the vents. How can I fix this problem and what trouble shoots can I perform to see whats wrong?

There's nothing wrong. FD's only blow heat out the floor and defrost vents. Don't ask me why, but 'tis true. I use the floor/defrost setting to warm up the inside of the car.
