Help me fix my leak


This is under the oil filter . The nipple is where Ive been leaking oil . Just wondering what I was do to fix it . I tried to take it off and put thread locker on it but it's still leaking . Thanks in advance

Are you sure the leak isn't the oil filter pedistal/oil cooler return fitting

Yes, you could have another source of oil causing the leak. With the cooler line sitting directly above it, you could have a leak from the line or filter above.

If not then the sensor is leaking internally, and needs replaced.

That was my first thought the sensor . I went ahead and changed it and kept a look on the leak. Im 100 it's coming off that t. Im not sure if previous owner used it as a temp gauge or something

The t is unclear in the photo then, I assumed you meant the sensor itself. Your best option for seals on threads is Teflon tape, found at most hardware stores.

I can't really tell from that photo but it looks like an aftermarket sender but I'm not sure what it's tapped into. It's a common issue with Japanese cars using gauges/senders from the US market because the holes are tapped with BSPT threads and the senders have NPT threads. They fit together, but won't seal correctly and if torqued too much can actually cause the ports to crack which results in leaks. Since I don't know what you're dealing with, all I can recommend is to remove the sender and check the port for cracks.
