help keep loosing air psi in my left rear tire

not understanding i would put in air on sat and by friday ill lose a couple of psi in my tire, i checked for slow leaks and there were none. please help if you can

Did you put the tire-wheel in a water tank with high air pressure ? if not (no tank ,no air compresser) take to a tire shop and pay the six dollars ( Nashville area cost),

Take it to any local "Discount Tire" they fix leaks for free. They fixed mine in about 15 minutes.

if you had it mounted recently then most likely it was not mounted correctly and has a leak where the rim meets the bead.

Slow leaks are generally Bead leaks or the vlave core is not creating a secure seal inside the stem. Air it up and spit on the vlave core just like you used to do on your BMX.

I had this problem and took it to America's Tire Co. where they fix leaks for free, and they couldn't find a leak using the water test. So the guy unmounted the tire and a lot of gunk had built up on the rim preventing a good seal. He using a power wheel and scrubbed it mostly off and remounted it. This helped but the leak still isn't totally gone, so next time I get a rotation I'll ask the guy to clean it up some more. This is probably the problem, slow leaks are hard to detect, and punctures rarely stay as slow leaks for a long time.

If you have a 3 pc wheel it could be leaking between the inner and outer halves too. Leaks don't have to be through the tire or valve stem.
