Help Installing HKS Turbo Time in my 94 D
I bought a used HKS Turbo Timer and a new wireing harness for my 94 FD. I don't have the manuals for the timer. and the instructions that came with the harness are in Japanese.
Any help is apreciated.
Thanks Steve

OK this is pretty straight forward and not that hard at all if you have the harness. First take the steering column apart there are screws under that you take loose and it come apart into 2 pieces. Then you see on the side a white plug that you can pull apart and put the harness in the middle of. This is the hardest part i found, getting the harness to fit in there. Well anyhow just work at it and it will go in. Then put the column back together and run the other side where ever you want the timer mounted. Then pull your center console up from in front of the shifter. it all comes up in one piece shifter boot and all. You will then need to find the E-brake wire and tape the one loose wire on the HKS harness on this so the timer wont work without the E-brake on. Put all back together and mount timer and your done.

if u have the type 1 like me dont forget to hardwire the remaing wires. Like rmp signal. IF u dont do this then none of ur readings will work. IT should have come with a big folded up whote stapled together manual that is in english. The front page has everything u need to do, Btw u need to disconnect your battery incase u didnt already know.

The Harness I have(GReddy Harnaess I was told would work with my HKS timer) has three extra wires in addition to the Connectors.
Does anybody know where they should connect? and which color wire connects to what? As I said above, The instructions I have are only in Japanese.
