I dont know how you taller bigger guys fit in your cars im 5'11" and 160 pounds and I fell claustrophobic in my FD.

sell the Touring and get a Base or R1/R2

I'm a pretty hefty guy, at my largest I was 250 @ 5'10, but I've never had a problem fitting into an FD, even mine with a rather narrow racing seat.

But your best bet to fit into an FD is to put down the cheese steak and pick up the dumbell.

300 6'3" here and I fit in their. I didn't have to modify the seat. But I did have to put in a smaller steering wheel. Momo 320mm. And mine is a 93 touring.
