Do you guys know a website with all FD models describing the differences? I just got my FD last month and I can’t figure out which model is it. The only thing I know of is that is late 1996, has factory 17 inch wheels, has the Efini badges (I can’t see any “Mazda” logo), has two oil coolers and bigger brake rotors. At the door says “RS Specail Edition” The car was imported from Japan. Any help would be appreciated.

 

Then it sounds like you have an RS Jokes aside, with twin coolers and it saying RS, I think you have an RS.

Most users here are in the states so it might be slim pickings finding someone who knows in depth about newer than 1995 models.

You might try getting in contact with Glenn Butcher at www.mymazdarotary.com, he's in England and has a 2000 RB-S.

Ahhh - I just checked out his site again and if you follow his link for "RX-7 RB-S About", he has a table that shows the differences between the models.
